Ocho Rios Grill

1st time visit saturday july 20, 2024 I ordered oxtails 5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ cooked just how I like them, soft and seasoned just right, the rice in peas and veggies all were good. I'll be back

I just want to start off by saying i’m not the biggest fan of swine. But today, I decided to get Jerk Pork because I tried the Oxtail, Brown stew chicken, and the Curry chicken from Ocho Rios Grill which all tasted great but today, I wanted to switch it up because why not. I walk in and ordering my food was easy-going and the service was spectacular and the cashier was really nice. I come home, open the container and the aromatics hit me instantly. The pork was so tender, the flavors were there and I didn’t have to second guess on this at all. I loved it. The rice and gungo peas were perfect, and the cabbage was spot on. This was the best jerk pork i’ve had in a long time. Everyone go down to Ocho Rios Grill if you want a taste of true, authentic, Jamaican cuisine. Don’t sleep on this restaurant. They got it💯

Today for lunch I checked out Ocho Rios Grill in Vernon. I was a little early so they didn’t have everything finished cooking, but they did have one of my favorites, the oxtail with rice and peas. It was very flavorful, almost falling off the bone and the sauce and rice was amazing. I asked for extra sauce to spice it up and next time I’m definitely asking for more. I love the spices and enjoy the heat. They had a few different sides available and I picked the steamed cabbage which was very tender and of course I had to get some pattys. I went with a beef and tried a chicken that I’ve never had before and didn’t regret it. They had just enough heat as they described “ to keep you honest “. The place was very clean, the owner was very nice, the food came out fast and was very good. It’s definitely worth stopping by and checking out especially since their menu is always changing.
